I recently had the pleasure of photographing Laura and Dane’s wedding at the Aldridge Botanical Gardens. The wedding party spent the morning getting ready at the beautiful Tutwiler hotel in Birmingham, AL and then traveled to the Aldridge Botanical Gardens for the ceremony and reception. The Bride and Groom opted to do a “first look” at the hotel. I LOVE when couples decide to do this – it really gives them a chance to have some time together, as well as get some great couple’s portraits before the commotion of the ceremony and reception begin. After a few pictures at the hotel, we went over to the gardens to do a few more photos and get ready for the ceremony, and let me just say that Aldridge Botanical Gardens was a gorgeous location for a wedding! So lush and pretty there – perfect for pictures too 😉 The wedding went perfect, and the reception was so much fun! Both being Auburn graduates, and both coming from a long line of Auburn Grads, the Bride and Groom incorporated lots of Auburn touches at their reception. I love their groom’s cake – complete with toilet-papered trees! And after that statement – I know you are anxious to see pictures… Here are just a few from different events throughout their day 🙂
