I always try to find out something about my clients before I actually meet them for the photos so I can help them design a session suited to their tastes and preferences. I also like to encourage people to bring along anything that helps describe their personality. I found out that Mac loves his hats and has quite a collection, so I was excited to use several in his session. One of the hats (the light colored checked one in the top right photo below) actually belonged to his grandfather – I love that! And I think the hats were the perfect accessory for the photos!
